小島秀夫表示新作“像一種新媒體” 對遊戲行業革命性影響

近日，小島秀夫在接受外媒採訪時表示他即將推出一款新作，如果該作成功，它將給遊戲行業甚至電影行業都帶來新的血液。”

小島稱：“這就好比是一個實驗，而實驗與日常生活之間還有很長一段距離要走。”他曾在6月的Xbox展和Bethesda遊戲展上透漏他正與Xbox Game Studios合作開發一款新作，但由於技術限制還不能實現。

目前小島秀夫被認爲開發的兩款遊戲，一款是《Overdose》,而另外一款是《死亡擱淺2》。

Hideo Kojima, in an interview with The Guardian, has stated that Kojima Productions’ next game will be “almost like a new medium”. “It’s almost like a new medium,” said Kojima. “If this succeeds, it’ll turn things around – not just in the game industry, but the movie industry as well.” These statements echo similar sentiments Kojima had expressed in the lead up to the release of Death Stranding, which was dubbed as a “strand” game. While details about the new game being worked on at Kojima Productions are scarse, the game is rumoured to be titled Overdose. Earlier this year, Kojima appeared during an Xbox and Bethesda Game Showcase, announcing a partnership with Microsoft for the new game. Kojima has maintained, however, that his studio still has a “very good partnership” with PlayStation. Kojima Productions also seems to be working on a sequel to Death Stranding, which might feature Elle Fanning, and be teased as the “Who Am I?” project.
